to support people living with multiple sclerosis
The 13th MS Melbourne Cycle + MS Half Marathon was the event for everyone. We hope you had the perfect day taking on a personal challenge, spending the day with friends, family and colleagues, and raising essential funds for people living with multiple sclerosis. Fundraising closes 12 April 2019 so there is still time to be rewarded!
Challenge yourself and ride 50km or 30km around the most spectacular sights of Melbourne or take the leisurely 6km or 3km course around Flemington Racecourse.
Get your running shoes on, and choose between the half marathon course, or a 10km and 5km course as you run within the picturesque Flemington Racecourse.
Cycle around Melbourne, Run around Flemington Racecourse for MS
Congratulations – with your generous donations, our 2019 charity cycling and running event raised more than $633,000! That is an incredible figure, and it was made possible by all of you – the cyclists, runners and supporters who chose to dedicate their time and money to the MS Melbourne Cycle + MS Half Marathon. Together we raised much needed funds for people living with MS.
We look forward to doing it all again next year, so stay tuned for updates about when the next cycle and run events are planned and make sure you keep your bike – and yourself – in tiptop shape! You can already register your interest for 2020!
Bring Your Bike and Your Runners to Raise Money
The MS Melbourne Cycle event is comprised of two rides – a 50km and a 30km distance. The MS Half Marathon event has distances of a half marathon, 10km and 5km around Flemington Racecourse. Bring your bike or wear your runners and participate in one of the most exciting charity cycling and running events in Victoria.
When you register for the cycle or run as an individual or as a team, know that your participation and fundraising is directly supporting those people living with multiple sclerosis and their support networks of family and friends.
One of Victoria’s Top Charity Events
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and debilitating disease that attacks the central nervous system. It is the most common neurological disease to affect young adults, and is often diagnosed whilst they are in their 30s – a time many consider to be the prime of their lives. With each of these events, the people of Victoria are coming together to show their support for people living with MS. When you sign up and fundraise for the charity ride or run events, your money is put to good use. So the next time you see registration for our cycling or running events, get your bike out, dust off those runners and gather your team! Contact us for more information.
